Visiting *MichelVictor’s deviantART gallery is like a trip to the local movie theatres. Only you never actually enter screening the rooms. You remain mesmerized outside in the lobby by the amazing movie posters – his flash art animations that billow, roll and flow, living, breathing paintings with their own soundtracks created by the artist.

As 2008 draws to a close I've taken a few moments to reflect on how little shooting I've done this year.
I've been lazy in organising subjects, haven't really fleshed out any ideas and in some cases actively avoided taking pictures of anything.
I'd like to think that I can give myself a much needed kick up the backside in 2009 and realise some of the ideas I've had floating round in my head for some time now.
Time will tell ...
I've just tried to upload an image from a recent shoot to the "improved v6 deviantART".
I keep getting:
Sorry, you can not submit this deviation to the [INSERT ALL CATEGORIES I TRIED HERE]. Image dimensions are too small. Please select a file larger then 400x400 px or submit this deviation to a different category.
I've been quite happily uploading images that are (as a rule) 389x550 - a size I quite like for the web, and works just fine everywhere else.
How ****ing annoying! I'm not sure I have the time or energy to modify my work-flow just to satisfy some crappy new restriction. My image dimensions are just fine thanks.
It's been far too long since I've done anything serious with my camera.
I was hit with the Depression Stick in Q3-2007 .. or at least diagnosed then. It explains why I was running out of steam and finding life, photography and editing so tough.
I'm coming to the end of my 6-month course of "magic pills", and I have to say I'm feeling a lot more human again. I'm starting up the editing machine (when my PC isn't throwing hissy fits); I've finally booked my first victim for 2008; I'm starting to get ideas for "stuff" again, and feel like pursuing them.
I'm hoping to have some new material to share with the world in the not-too-distant future.
Hello dear friend, I just wanted to warn you that I change my account on DeviantArt and, if you want to continue to follow me, you can watch me at my new address: [link]
